CHIFLEY BUSINESS SCHOOL COLLABORATION WITH ICE WaRM

The International Centre of Excellence in Water Resources Management (ICE WaRM) has formed a partnership with Chifley Business School to provide mutual recognition of studies.

The Chifley – ICE WaRM collaboration has enabled credit for VGC (Vocational Graduate Certificate in Physical Asset Management) graduates into ICE WaRM’s Master of Water Resources Management, and credit for ICE WaRM graduates into Chifley’s postgraduate programmes.

Award

Graduates who successfully complete an ICE WaRM postgraduate programme will be eligible for credit into the APESMA MBA (Technology Management) and nested Chifley postgraduate programmes.

ICE WaRM’s Nested Programmes in Water Resources Management

The ICE WaRM Nested Masters Programme offers postgraduate study at three levels:

- Master of Water Resources Management
- Graduate Diploma in Water Resources Management
- Graduate Certificate in Water Resources Management

These programmes offer a unique blend of cross-institutional and cross-faculty study providing students with access to a wide range of expertise, resources and state-of-the-art research facililties in the broad field of water resources management.

ICE WaRM’s programmes offer a wide selection of specialised coursework electives and flexible study (click link and then click Delivery Mode Options in the nested Masters page) options enabling students to create a programme of study that meets their individual needs.

With five partner universities offering a diverse suite of courses and ‘stream specialisations’, the programmes are unique and accommodate the needs of a wide range of student backgrounds. These backgrounds vary from international students, to domestic civil or environmental engineers, to experienced professionals with many years of work experience seeking a formal postgraduate qualification.

Vocational Graduate Certificate in Physical Asset Management

The Vocational Graduate Certificate in Physical Asset Management (VGC) is delivered by Chifley Business School in conjunction with GHD and is aligned with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). At the completion of this course, participants will receive a nationally recognised qualification that acknowledges their professional skills as asset managers.
The award is issued by GHD and Chifley provides the student administration services for this programme in Australia and New Zealand.
Graduates from the Vocational Graduate Certificate in Physical Asset Management (VGC) at Chifley Business School will be eligible for credit for the ICE WaRM Master of Water Resources Management postgraduate programme.
