Dr Pavoni will present a free short seminar on:
"The Chemical Contamination of the Lagoon of Venice and its Effects on Organisms"
The lagoon of Venice is an example of an ecosystem in which human activities have been highly beneficial through conservation efforts, but also have been the cause of an extensive pollution affecting the organisms living in it.
