Dr Tanya Doody
Dr Tanya Doody is a research scientist specialising in plant physiology and water relations in floodplain and forest environments. Tanya joined CSIRO in 1993 and has undertaken research focusing on groundwater dependent ecosystems; connections between flow and ecology (Australia and Nepal); surface water and groundwater interactions; floodplain inundation modelling; spatial models to predict the effect of a range of floodplain environmental watering management options on floodplain vegetation health; and water balance projects within the Murray-Darling Basin.
Courses involved in:
- Advancing groundwater-dependent ecosystem detection using radar (October 2019)
- Connecting flow and ecology in the Koshi Basin, Nepal (May 2019)
