Here’s what you had to say…
ICE WaRM have done much to improve excellence in water resources management since its inception in December 2004, including development of extensive international alliances and creation / delivery of customised education and training courses. I’ve personally benefited from, and really enjoyed, many fascinating webinars delivered by ICE WaRM and partner organisation Australian Water School. I wish all ICE WaRM staff impacted by this change all the best for the future.

ICE WaRM has done a lot for water resources management across the globe, putting South Australian and Australian water management expertise at the centre of water excellence for many years. Well done to all involved over the years, in particular Richard Hopkins, Karlene Maywald, Darryl Day, Trevor Pillar, Ian Reid, Joel Voortman & Andrew Johnson PSM!

Darryl Day, Trevor Pillar and the team of ICE WaRM: it is sad to hear that your initiative will cease operations. It was always a pleasure to work with you on increasing the opportunities for professional development of water professionals everywhere.
I am so sad to hear this news. Deep in my heart, I really want ICE WaRM to keep growing and keep providing knowledge for each individual in the world and opportunity for the student to open the door to water world. In April 2009 I was granted a full scholarship by ICE WaRM to pursue Master of Water Management. I am much obliged to you for your contribution to my career development as well as my future.
I just wanted to say how disappointed I was to read your announcement re the demise of ICE
WaRM. I have found it a relevant and useful forum to keep abreast of goings on in the industry
and the webinars will most certainly be missed. Please pass on my regards and thanks to Trevor
and others involved in the program to date.
This is sad news. Water education is extremely important for our country & ICE WARM has played a major role in this field over the last 15 years. I’ve enjoyed working with all the ICE WARM staff and sincerely wish everybody the best for their future endeavours.
Sad to hear of close of operations of ICE WaRM and Australian Water School. You guys were doing wonderful work.
I was saddened to hear that ICE WaRM will no longer be with me and the thousands of others who have gained from the information you shared and the contacts created and am writing to express my sincere gratitude. I wish you all the very best and thank you for the inspiration and knowledge. NSW Government
I appreciate the note about the discontinuance of ICE WaRM. That is indeed sad news, as your
organization has provided excellent service over these past few years, of which I have been active.
Despite the difficult decision to discontinue services, you are to be congratulated on the quality of the past services provided along with the obvious commitment to excellence.

Sorry to hear that news. We will particularly miss the Webinar program.
So sorry to hear this, but you all have much to be proud of. Thank you for all you did to promote and further the sector, and look forward to seeing you in future. I know the team will be making a difference somewhere in future. Wishing you all the best!

Very sad day, but ICE WaRM has given the world a legacy that will live on – many organisations never achieve that!
Manager, International Business at Department for Environment and Water
This news hard to believe, you have done such an amazing work and ICEWaRM is a great contribution to all of us working in water beyond Australia. I truly hope this is just a new window of opportunities to those in the team that will bring even greater achievements and new endeavors for you all. Best wishes to you and the whole ICE WaRM team!

Thank you for your work and dedication over many years and particularly with regards the SDIP. In so many ways a roller coaster ride and particularly for ICE WaRM. I am still processing the very sad news and can only imagine how you are all feeling/reeling. Go gently as you navigate the next steps – for myself can I say what a privilege it has been to work with you and also thank you for the wise, respectful, generous and gifted ways you engaged with our now friends/colleagues in South Asia – most particularly in Nepal and also in India and Pakistan. Aid/development is a tricky space – and so often it makes more problems than it solves – your approach and the ethos of ICE WaRM mitigated that risk and you can see that in spades in your work and the progress made. Please hold those positive stories tight and with pride.
