EU – AU Exchange Programme

ICE WaRM successfully coordinated a graduate student mobility project, funded through the Australian Federal Government- Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations and the European Union. This project provided a mechanism to share best practice between Australian and the European Union (EU) universities, and to improve global understanding of the importance of sustainable water resources management.

Studying overseas is an excellent way to experience different cultures and international perspectives, meet new people, as well as offering study in areas that may not be available in the home institution. It is also an asset on job applications after graduation.

Participating EU universities were the University of Dundee, Dundee, Scotland, UK, the Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands and the Technical University of Dresden, Dresden, Germany.

The Participating Australian universities were the Flinders University of South Australia, Adelaide, South Australia, University of Adelaide, Adelaide, South Australia, Deakin University, Melbourne, Victoria, the University of South Australia, Adelaide, South Australia and CQUniversity, Queensland.
